Supplemental prenatal and postpartum care

Home birth isn’t for everyone, but we believe everyone would benefit from midwifery care.

The hallmarks of midwifery care are longer appointments, individualized care, counseling and education, shared decision making, and holistic care. If you’d like to work with a midwife, but would prefer or need to birth in a hospital setting then Supplemental Care is a wonderful option.

Prenatal and postpartum visits can follow the typical schedule of care, or can be done on an as needed basis. During a typical visit we will discuss nutrition, birth goals, pregnancy discomforts, and treatment options. The goal of these visits is to develop a predictable and nourishing support system during the exciting and tender process of gestation, birth, and recovery.
